A week’s worth of high temperatures in the 50s and 60s appear to indicate that autumn has fallen, which is something that I absolutely love. It’s by far my favorite season, probably for the psychological reason that it seems, at least around the upper Midwest, to be the shortest season. The snow typically starts to fall around here in November, and though technically winter doesn’t start until the last week in December, once the snow starts to fly, to me it’s winter. So that means that we’ve only got a solid month or two of crisp sweatshirt weather, beautiful fall colors, pumpkin-spice flavored confections, and the like. If you’re in a climate like mine, enjoy it while it lasts!
